Jayman BUILT Aquatic Centre
6AM-9PM* OPEN DAILY
Wave pool, lazy river, 25-meter lap pool, therapy pool, hot tub, 2 water slides & spray park. Supervision requirement: 1 responsible person (16 years+) actively supervising and within arms reach for every 4 children under 8 years old. Protective, water resistant swimwear mandatory for children under 36 months or anyone who may be incontinent. Intoxicated persons not permitted.

Fireside of Cochrane Fitness Centre
6am-9pm
The Fireside of Cochrane Fitness Centre has a variety of strength training equipment (machines and plate loaded) and cardio machines (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and rowers). It is located on the second floor, just off the main atrium. There is additional fitness equipment in the middle of the 3 lane track (Wellness Centre), also on the second floor.

Users 12Y - 17Y must first go through an orientation to use the fitness centre

Climbing Centre
Currently closed due to AHS Guidelines
24' climbing wall with auto belay system.

Users under 8Y must be supervised by a parent/guardian.

All climbers, or their parent if under 18Y, must complete and sign a waiver form in the presence of SLS Family Sports Centre staff during designated open times or complete the waiver online.

Climbing equipment is available for use free of charge.

Hockey Arenas - Totem 1, 2 & 3
We have 3 NHL-sized hockey arenas.

Everyone on the ice must wear skates.

Certified hockey helmets are mandatory for 12 years old and under

Sticks and Pucks: helmets mandatory for all ages. (full gear not required)

Shinny: full gear required

The Skate Shop
Professional skate sharpening, hockey tape (1” or 1.5" rolls), water bottles, howies stick wax, hockey laces (sizes 72’ up to 120”) and much more.

Philergos Indoor Turf
Indoor turf, popular for soccer, lacrosse, and a variety of drop-in activities.

3 Lane track, 225 meters (approx.).

Cochrane Arena
The Cochrane Arena is a separate off-site location at
609 4th Avenue, Cochrane.
The Cochrane Arena is also operated by the Spray Lake Sawmills Recreation Park Society and includes the arena, Guy’s Cafe & Bakery, Christopher’s Kidz before and after school care, and a program room.
