Fitness Activity Schedule - May 2021 - included with Membership or subject to a fee. With the exception of Aquatics activities, all classes are to be held outdoors. Registration opens 6am the day before.

Active Forever


This fitness class is structured towards older adults hoping to build, maintain or improve their current level of health and fitness. Our instructors and facility provide a supportive, safe environment to help improve our participants’ fitness condition. Join a group of dedicated adults who want to be active and fit forever! All levels welcome – you will be encouraged to explore all your body’s abilities in a safe and progressive format. Dynamic Lifting


This 45-minute class is designed around the education of the diverse forms of lifting and moving. Most of the class will be framed around natural and functional movements tailored to support individual needs, daily and active lifestyles. All levels of individual are welcome. Each session will focus on the mechanical principles of functional training done in a safe and challenging format. A progressive outline will allow participants to frame each session towards building a fitness foundation to support and structure their health around. This class will expose you to new ideas and exercises, while exploring: the what, why and how’s of health and fitness. Time | 6-6:45pm Tuesday & Thursday Instructor | Curtis




Extreme Bootcamp


​​​​​​​ COVID PROTOCOLS A boot camp workout is essentially a type of interval training with an SLSFSC performance coach —get ready for bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of light movement. The term 'bootcamp' is also known as a group fitness classes that promotes strength gain, fat loss, camaraderie and a team effort feel. Making it “Extreme” with us will get you the results you want! Healing Movement - Warm Water Therapy Pool


This class is perfect if you have any chronic pain, joint injuries, or suffer from a movement disorder. The heat of the therapy pool may be both beneficial and healing to you. Join us for some safe and fun strength-based water moves where you will see an increase in your mobility and freedom from gravity fed aches and pains. Spin & Strength


A great combination of a spin workout for your cardio and some resistance training with equipment. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace. We will target all the aspects of your core (abdominals, lower back, hips, and glutes), to help build a strong base of support for all your daily activities. Spin Tabata


Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training. Spin Tabata takes it one step further offering a winning work-out combination of spinning (cardio) and resistance training (build muscle mass). Through a variety of simple, yet intense timed exercises, each class will blast away the calories and, when done consistently, will provide noticeable fitness results in a short amount of time. Tabata Mix


Traditional Tabata training is a type of high intensity interval exercise that follows a regimented format: twenty seconds of very high intensity movements (e.g., sprints) followed by ten seconds of rest, which is repeated 8 times for a total of 4 minutes. High intensity interval training with a rest period shorter than the work period can target and improve both anaerobic and aerobic energy systems.

Warm Water Stretching - Warm Water Therapy Pool


This class will use the therapeutic properties of warm water and include slow dynamic and static movements to improve mobility and flexibility, while improving muscle stiffness and tension leaving your mind and body relaxed and rejuvenated. Total Body Circuit


Total-body circuit is a combination of full body strength training, your own personal circuit combining upper-body push/pull movements, lower body work, and core exercises. Time | 10-11am Saturdays Instructor | Chris
