By now, most Albertan’s have heard the exciting Alberta's Open for Summer Plan announcement! This allows us to safely start getting back to normal, as the Premier stated.
ON JUNE 10 WE ARE OPENING!! We are thrilled to be welcoming back our members. Our Memberships are back with the amenities you’ve come to know & love – such as FREE Play Now activities.
Membership Reactivations (from April/May 2021 Pause) and New Memberships
If your active membership was paused in April or May of 2021, you are entitled to UP TO one free calendar month of membership. For example, if you reactivate anytime in June, the balance of June would be free and the next scheduled payment would be July 1, 2021. Please note that we are unable to offer the free month to anyone who paused at the end of April and/or did not pay the membership fee for May in full. All other previous memberships were cancelled in December and would require a new purchase to proceed. If you are interested in purchasing an Annual Membership, please select the option above. If you would like to reactivate your paused membership or purchase a monthly membership, call us at 403-932-1635 or pop down to our Guest Services desk.
What is the status of my membership?
All active memberships will be paused effective May 10, 2021 – stopping all future payments until SLSFSC can reopen and you are ready to return.
In lieu of a partial refund for May membership fees paid, members will receive a free month upon the reactivation of their membership.
Once a member has chosen to reactivate their membership payments will start on the next applicable month.
All memberships which were suspended in December 2020 will remain suspended until SLSFSC can reopen and you are ready to return.
The account credits which were placed on your SLSFSC Account for the remaining term of your membership (annual & monthly memberships with recurring payments) remain in your account and have not changed.
Will my monthly recurring membership fees automatically restart when SLSFSC reopens?
No. Membership fees will not be charged until you give SLSFSC clear direction to engage your membership as outlined above.
Can I cancel my membership?
- If you have not directed our Guest Services team to restart your membership in 2021, there is no need to cancel your membership.
- All annual memberships were cancelled in December 2020 and applicable account credits were issued.
- Monthly memberships that have not been reactivated after the December 2020 closure remain suspended. Memberships will NOT automatically restart.
