Winter Programs Registration
Important Information

As we continue the transition process to our new program, booking and membership software system we will not have access to the use of our customer facing portal for the 2022 Winter Registration period. In an effort to best support our members and the public through this transition we have strategically developed a temporary means for everyone to submit their online Program Registration Requests.  

How to Submit a Request to be Registered for a 2022 Winter Program

Registration dates:

Members: Dec 6, 9am

Non-members: Dec 13, 9am

Use the Program Registration Request link to submit your request(s) for the various program(s) you'd like to be registered for. Please note that at this time, the only acceptable way to submit a registration request is using this link and no in-person registrations can be accepted. 

IMPORTANT – please note that once a request has been submitted it does not mean that the individual has been registered for the program. 

The Registration Process

  • Requests will be processed in the order that they are received

  • Registrants will be added to programs until program is full  

  • Once an individual has been registered for a program, they will receive a follow up email and phone call to confirm the registration

  • Registrants will have 24 hours to respond and pay for the program or the individual will be removed from the program, at which time we will move to the next eligible registrant on the list

What is your withdrawal, transfer and cancellation policy?


Withdrawals:

More than seven (7) days' notice prior to program start: Customer's choice of a full monetary refund or SLSFSC account credit, less a $10 administration fee per registrant/ per program.

More than 24 hours’ but less than seven (7) days’ notice prior to program start: Customer's choice of a 50% monetary refund or full SLSFSC account credit, less a $10 administration fee per registrant/ per program

Less than 24 hours' notice prior to program start: No monetary refund or SLSFSC account credit will be issued

Transfers:

Prior to program start: Registrants can transfer to a different SLSFSC program, pending program availability. Registrants must pay the difference in cost (if any) at the time of the transfer

After program start: Registrants may request a transfer to a different SLSFSC program. The Department and/ or Executive Management will determine if the request can be accommodated. If approved, the registrant will pay any difference in program cost at the time of the transfer

SLSFSC Cancellations:

Cancellation prior to program start: Customer's choice of a full monetary refund or SLSFSC account credit

Cancellation after program start: Customer’s choice of a pro-rated monetary refund or SLSFC account credit

​SLSFSC reserves the right to revise our Registered Program Withdrawal, Transfer and cancellation terms.

SLSFSC will process monetary refunds and/ or account credits as soon as reasonably possible.




Who is eligible for the early registration date?


The individual who will be participating in the program must be a member in order for the program request to be accepted and to be eligible for the member pricing. If a parent has an Adult Membership but their child does not, the parent is eligible for early registration and member pricing, but the child is not. Exception – the only exception to the above rule is that parents who have memberships and are registering their child who is under the age of 2 for a program will be eligible for early registration and member pricing. If a parent has purchased a Family Membership, then all individuals included on the membership are eligible for early registration and member pricing.

Li'l' Climbers - Ages 3-6 yrs


Have your kids tried climbing yet? Intended for 3–6-year olds, enthusiastic staff will open your child’s eyes to this tremendous sport and maybe even spark a lifelong obsession. Play & Skate - Ages 3-5 yrs


Join our Play Facilitators on the ice for some fun and games. Participants will play a variety of games while gaining balance, learning how to fall, get up, walk, and glide on the ice. All participants are required to have skates and a CSA approved helmet. We recommend the use of a full facemask. Parents are welcome to stay. Ready, Set, Go! - Ages 3-5 yrs


Bring your preschooler for a fun-filled experience on our turf. Each class is jam packed with engaging activities to keep your little one moving. Piloga


This class is a gentle blend of Pilates and Yoga. Core conditioning and joint range of motion exercises may be performed with the assistance of apparatus such as Gliders, Rubber Resistance, and small balls. Prenatal Yoga


Pregnancy is a transitional time for Women, when many physical & emotional changes take place. Postures to help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, keep the body flexible, alleviate many common discomforts of pregnancy, while finding focus through balance & the breath to connect mother and baby and prepare for a healthy, mindful, more natural approach to the challenges of labor and birth. Sharing information and knowledge with meditation/relaxation for a peaceful, calm state of mind. Sharing this time with other new moms, discussing common postpartum issues, and stretching the stiffness away! Postnatal Yoga


Postnatal Yoga is used to help mothers reconnect following birth and begin to help the body regain strength and flexibility. The first 40 days after birth is to bond, establish breast feeding and allow the body to regain strength with lots of rest! Approximately six weeks following birth, return to Postnatal Yoga with your baby to share support and information with other new moms. Yoga postures for mom to help regain abdominal strength, body flexibility and tone. Sharing this time with other new moms, discussing common postpartum issues, and stretching the stiffness away! Step and Stretch


The best of both worlds! Work up a sweat with approximately 35 minutes of good old fashioned, knee-friendly, step choreography, followed by a cool down and extended Yoga stretch. Winter Endurance for Cyclists


This is a specific class geared to all disciplines of cycling in a 2-hour weekly format that incorporates spin (a little bit of running) and strength work. Muscular endurance is the focus where the goal is to increase one’s functional threshold power and develop a strong body to prevent injuries throughout the race season. This class runs weekly and will be designed to complement a current training plan. Athletes who train with power are welcome to bring their bike and bike-trainer and all participants will need footwear to do “off the bike” strength work. Bringing a snack or quick fuel is highly recommended to bring to the class for all athletes to keep energy at an optimum level. The class is open to anyone 16 years and older and all fitness levels are welcome to the class - the instructor will tailor the exercises to your fitness level. The goal is to endure longer and be faster come your race season!
